Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 12, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Snaply (“Snaply,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operated by Emerg Labs, based in Wyoming, USA, collects, uses, and protects information when a merchant installs and uses the Snaply app (the “App”) on their Shopify store, and when that store's customers interact with features the App provides.

1. Who this policy covers

  • Merchants — Shopify store owners and staff who install and configure the App.
  • Customers — shoppers who visit a merchant's storefront where Snaply widgets (bundles, upsells, discounts, cart goal bars) are displayed.

2. Information we collect

From merchants (via the Shopify API)

  • Store details: store name, domain, primary email, currency, timezone, and plan.
  • Catalog data needed to build offers: products, variants, prices, collections, and images.
  • Order and analytics data used to report on offer performance and, where enabled, to compute product pairings for dynamic bundles.

From customers (on the storefront)

  • Interaction events with Snaply widgets — for example, which offers were shown, added to cart, or purchased — used for analytics and to render the correct offer.
  • Cart contents at the time an offer is evaluated (e.g. to power the free-shipping goal bar).

Snaply does not request or store customer payment card details; all checkout and payment processing is handled by Shopify.

3. How we use information

  • To provide, configure, and display the App's offers on your storefront.
  • To generate performance analytics for the merchant.
  • To compute automatic, order-history-based product pairings for dynamic bundles (where the merchant enables them).
  • To provide support and communicate about the App.
  • To detect, prevent, and address technical issues or abuse.

4. How information is shared

We do not sell personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us run the App, under agreements that require them to protect it:

  • Shopify — the platform the App runs on.
  • Fly.io — application hosting.
  • Supabase — database hosting.

5. Data retention

We retain merchant and offer data for as long as the App is installed. When you uninstall, we delete or anonymize associated data within 30 days, except where longer retention is required by law. Shopify's mandatory data-erasure webhooks (customers/redact, shop/redact, customers/data_request) are honored.

6. Data security

We use industry-standard measures — encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers — to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location (e.g. under GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below. Storefront customers should direct requests to the merchant, who can forward them to us.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
